Assessment

Assessment keeps us from guessing what will help versus having a really good idea about what will help. Sometimes that is what we need, sometimes we need more. Regardless, you will walk away with something of value.

Communication Coaching

Sometimes we JUST WANT THE TOOLS to better communicate and connect. Schedule a consultation to see if learning, practicing, implementing and getting guidance is right for you. Read the description below for more information.

Current Insurance Accepted

Nomadic Relationship & Sex Therapy currently accepts select insurance plans based on state licensure and service eligibility in:

New Mexico:

Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Mexico

Presbyterian (Magellan)

United Health Care (Optum) and United Health Care EAP

Vermont

EAP Invest

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Vermont (Blue Card Program eligible)

Insurance participation and accepted plans may vary depending on your location, benefits, and eligibility requirements. Also Sex Therapy and Relationship Therapy may not be covered by your insurance provider so feel free to call your insurance customer service to understand your coverage further.

As part of the practice’s transition toward a virtual / in-office hybrid, specialized, and location-independent model, Nomadic Relationship & Sex Therapy will gradually transition to a private-pay/fee-for-service practice beginning in 2027.

Clients who wish to utilize insurance benefits after this transition may still be eligible for out-of-network reimbursement, depending on their insurance plan. Superbills can be provided upon request for reimbursement submission.

Clients are encouraged to verify:

out-of-network mental health benefits
reimbursement percentages
deductible requirements
superbill submission procedures

Please feel free to inquire about current accepted insurance plans, private-pay rates, or transition questions prior to scheduling.

Communication and Connection Coaching

Sometimes we just want the tools to communicate and connect better with the people who matter. Nomadic Coaching services is not covered by insurance however is short term facilitated experiences with your partner to help navigate conversations better. Book the amount of session you want, with no pressure or obligation.

Validation and empathy without abandoning your perspective.
Make request and develop relationship agreements with a great sense of consent.
Resolving resentments and developing a fuller sense of closure.

Cost: 175 per session

Comprehensive Relationship, Sexual Health Assessment & Roadmap

Recommended starting point for all new couples or individuals

because without an assessment, "we are just guessing."

Relationship and Sex therapy begins with a structured assessment process designed to provide clarity, direction, and a personalized roadmap for treatment.

This process integrates evidence-based relationship assessment, Gottman-informed evaluation, and individualized clinical feedback to better understand relationship strengths, areas of distress, communication patterns, intimacy concerns, and treatment goals.

There are a few different options to choose from depending on your needs:

Standard: $1,500

Assessment Includes:

1 × 90 minute intake session

Gottman Check Up Screening for relationships and Evaluation

1 × 60 minute feedback and treatment planning session

Premium: $1,750

Assessment includes:

1 × 90 minute intake session
Gottman Check Up Screening for relationships and Evaluation
2 × 60 minute individual sessions (one for each partner)
1 × 60 minute feedback and treatment planning session
Blue Print Binder with All Resources, Materials, and Steps to Take regarding your sexual health and relationship Goals.

VIP: $1,950

Assessment includes:

1 × 90 minute joint intake session
Gottman Check Up Screening for relationships and Evaluation
2 × 60 minute individual sessions (one for each partner)
1 × 60 minute feedback and treatment planning session
Blue Print Binder with All Resources, Materials, and Steps to Take regarding your sexual health and relationship Goals.
30 days of direct message access and 30 minute consultation (in-office or telehealth) to provide guidance and further skill development.

This assessment process is designed to help couples move beyond crisis management and begin therapy with a clear understanding of relationship patterns and next steps. Sometimes we just need a Blue Print, sometimes we need more, nevertheless you will receive a comprehensive understanding of your relationship needs and next steps.

Relationship & Sex Therapy Session Fees

Relationship and Sexual Health Session: $175 per 60 minute session.

Extended Relationship and Sexual Health Session: $225 per 90 minute session.

The hope of Nomadic Relationship & Sex Therapy is that you achieve your goals within 6 months. No relationship needs are the same lending itself to less or more time needed to accomplish your goals. Though there is no guarantee offered. We are sure that you will learn and understand more about yourself, and your relationship than you had before working with us lending itself to insight that will inform relationship and sexual health needs for the remainder of your lifetime.

After the assessment phase, sessions are scheduled on a bi-weekly basis giving you time to integrate the concepts and skills you develop in your sessions. As you make progress, it will be important to tamper session which may look like 1 a month before you graduate from services and put closure to your time with Nomadic.

For the sake of the No Surprise Act and providing a Good Faith Estimate. The total cost of services, depending on what assessment option you choose will range from:
